In short - the main advantages of a 2 piece kit are :

1.) Ability to replace only one half of the 2 piece part.

2.) Shipping costs 2x lower.

Disadvantages:

1.) Additional 20-30 minutes per part to join together.

We believe this is the future that's already here.

What is a 2 piece kit?

A bumper / lip / side skirt cut in half. One side has a "transition" that replicates the shape of the part so the other side can go on. Both sides are easily attached back together and the bond is really strong. As we are making these 2 piece kits from december, the technique has been worked on a bit - the seam is small, like in the picture of side skirts below. You can use rivets, fender bolts/nuts or bondo them together with bondo glass.

Our body parts are high quality, they fit very well, they hold up really well - trust us on this. But if you keep banging on doors / that rear quarter panel for a whole season or you hit that curb again and again hard enough - you can replace and pay only for the damaged half. The shipping costs are 2x cheaper as well.

In April there will be added an option to buy for example just the left part of rear bumper for 1/2 of the price.

We now ship only with FedEx (TNT) - as they have their own cargo airplanes and continue to work as usual. That means guaranteed fast deliveries - but also higher shipping costs. Delivery time to United States, Canada, Europe and a lot of other countries is 5 business days.

Most product shipping costs outside of Europe are now bit higher, but it's not that big jump (around 1.5x) and the service / fast delivery is without a doubt worth it. Especially during these times.

Short shifters, wings, overfenders, sunroof deletes, strut bars and the E36 aero kit are within this category.

The E30 and E46 aero kit bumpers are huge and the costs to ship them with FedEx are up to 3.5x higher. Everything has to be packaged in a box. For example, the E46 rear aero bumper is huge and our custom super tight fit box around it turns out very big as well.

Another example: The cost to ship E46 rear bumper is the same to ship a full E46 aero kit as the front bumper slides into the rear bumper and the 2 piece side skirts go into the the front bumper. The size of the box remains the same. In this specific case - a drag wing or similar sized product for example: would be free to ship in this package as well as there is plenty of room for it in the box.

We closed our website from 1st to 12th April to work on some issues and update the new shipping costs. We tried to make smart, too complicated system that would calculate this all automatically, but it takes a lot of time and resources we don't have. We can't wait any longer, so on 5th we reopen the website with adjusted shipping costs aimed at our clients that order 1 product per order, which are the most common orders.

To all of you, our awesome customers who order multiple parts at once, if the size and shape will allow us to "package them smart" - we will refund you the excess shipping costs within 1 business day. If you checkout with credit card - the process will take longer, usually a week.

Example #1 - You order E30 aero front and rear bumper. We refund you the shipping costs for the front bumper as it goes into the rear bumper. (E30/E36/E46 aero kit fronts go into rear.)

Example #2 - You order 2 piece E46 aero kit. You save a lot on shipping. You watch our video how to join the 2 piece kit, understand that it's easy and it holds up really good. You do a wall tap hard enough to crack the left part of the rear bumper. It holds up. After a year of banging doors the left part of the rear bumper is not that good. You order just the left part of the rear bumper and you reinstall it.

Example #3 - You order 2 sunroof deletes. We won't refund the shipping costs. As the sunroof delete is already packaged very well and there isn't any unused space in the box. Another delete will go on top of the 1st one and the box will be 2x higher.

Example #4 - You order E36 coupe overfenders and a sunroof delete. We will be able to refund shipping costs for the sunroof delete as the front overfenders are shorter than the rear ones and that extra space there, so called "air" - is a perfect spot for it.

Example #5 - You order E46 rear bumper and 12 drag wings. We will refund you the drag wing shipping costs - we hope you understand why.

Example #6 - You order E36 aero kit (with front bumper instead of the lip) and overfenders. Nop, we will just ship with 2 different packages. As they are too big to be combined.

We don't think it's necessary to list all possible variations, but to help you understand this better - imagine that the largest product is in a tight fit (90 degree on all corners straight) custom box. In that box there might be space or what we will call it in this case - air. Bumpers and lips, products with shape. You won't have to overpay for that air if you order more products at once. The only exception in rare cases would be that if you have a strut bar + body part combo where the strut bar could damage the body part during shipping.

At the moment all side skirts we ship are 2 piece. (you can get a custom 1 piece order via e-mail)

Aero kits have an option on the product page to choose 1 or 2 piece bumpers/lips. The price for the aero kit is the same, the shipping costs will be different.
